What honestly humbles me the most when it comes to dA, is that even when I am doing absolutely nothing, and seldom comment on your stuff lately (It's not due to me being uninterested, I just have become super busy lately, and I need to adjust my classwork/dA work) I still average at least 50 pageviews a day. I think that is lovely. While I don't look at pageviews when it comes to popularity, it's nice that my inactivity has made it so I am not forgotten.
So to show my appreciation, I would really like to kick my first year off on dA with a BANG. And that is with what? Making my own contest, with what as a grand prize? A One-Year Premium Membership

Apocalyptic Contestsorry I have been kind of quiet lately guys ^^; but it's been a while so I think it's time for another contest. I would like to make this contest as big as possible :D

the apocalypse. however you see it. zombie, nuclear, Ragnarok, Rapture, asteroid, whatever comes to your mind when you think Apocalypse. whether you write about how it all ends, what it's like being there, or just plain trying to survive it, I want to see how creative you can get! :zombie:

Your entry must fall under the poetry category(this is a poetry group) I will be pretty lenient though. The poem can be part of a picture or accompanied by a picture, but the poem has to be the main focus. your poem can be a short like a haiku or really long

:bulletgreen: Write a short fictional story about a Secret Santa event happening during Christmas/winter season, OR interpret it like a 'secret santa'. That's all. Everything else is up to your imagination! This can be fan fiction, original, collaborative, slice of life, supernatural, fantasy, science fiction, romance, horror, homosexual, etc. Whatever genre works.

:bulletgreen: If you are not a writer, I will allow you, the artist/photographer, to collaborate with a poet to make some sort of visual art that includes a message/story/poem/lyrics in or on it. Comics/mangas are allowed. However, please do not use others' art/stories/poems/lyrics unless you have permission. The prizes will be left up to the collaborators to work out among themselves. YOU CAN ENTER BOTH STORIES AND POEMS.
